Learning Differences and Schools for Learning Disabilities

Learning Differences Schools

CRC’s youth division – operated by Aspen Education Group, the nation’s leading provider of therapeutic schools and programs for struggling or underachieving young people – offers boarding schools and summer camps for children and teens with learning differences. Our programs maintain a small staff-to-student ratio so that we can accommodate each student’s unique learning style in an atmosphere that is conducive to personal achievement.

Students’ days are filled with individual and group counseling as well as extracurricular activities like sports, drama, and art that provide opportunities to stay active and build lifelong friendships. Our teams of caring professionals strive to nurture the success of all students, reinforcing positive, appropriate communication and interaction through modeling and hands-on learning opportunities.

With an emphasis on social skills, maintaining healthy relationships, independent living skills, and self-esteem, CRC’s learning disability programs are designed at all levels to capitalize on the strengths and unique abilities of each child by understanding their way of learning about the world. Children work not only to reach their full potential, but also to discover new skills, talents, and interests that follow them into adulthood.
