Sexual Addiction Treatment Centers
A number of CRC’s facilities offer treatment for individuals struggling with sexual addiction/compulsivity, co-sexual addiction, and sex and love addiction. CRC’s sexual addiction programs include confidential, personal, and effective gender-specific treatment for women and men. Program staff is made up of trained mental health and addiction specialists, familiar with the suffering that sex addiction often inflicts on the addict and those close to him or her. Treatment includes education about healthy sexuality, individual counseling, support groups, family or couples therapy, and 12-step recovery meetings. In addition to sexual addiction, patients frequently have long histories of broken relationships, family dysfunction, drug and alcohol abuse, depression, emotional instability, career problems, and relapse. With appropriate care, those struggling with these issues can learn to abstain from compulsive sexual behavior and integrate healthy sexuality into their lives.
