Program Description
White Deer Run at Blue Mountain is a 20-bed, adult co-ed, inpatient, residential treatment program situated on seven wooded acres in the beautiful Blue Mountains of Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Located just 30 minutes from Allentown, PA, in Kempton, WDR at Blue Mountain offers patients a peaceful setting in which to recover from addiction.
The program goals embraced by White Deer Run at Blue Mountain are:
- Help patients achieve and maintain abstinence
- Increase patient and family understanding of chemical dependency
- Help patient and family gain acceptance of the disease
- Help patient learn tools of recovery and stages of relapse
- Encourage the use of personal support groups such as NA, AA, CODA, ACOA, and Alanon
