Zero Balancing Bodywork
Zero Balancing is a type of bodywork developed by Dr. Fritz Smith in the 1970s. Using therapeutic touch, a practitioner works to improve the relationship between the energies and structures of the body. The process often includes finger pressure and gentle traction on key areas of tension to create balance in the joints, bones, soft tissues and energy fields in the skeletal system.
Drawn from the fields of osteopathy and acupuncture, Zero Balancing combines Western and Eastern concepts about human anatomy and energy flow in the body. Sessions typically last 30 to 45 minutes and are designed to unblock energy flow, relieve pain and improve alignment.
