Who Conducts the Intervention?
The rising popularity and success of interventions have spawned a new specialty – the interventionist. With their unique skills and expertise in halting the spiral of addictive disease, interventionists are caring counselors specially trained in facilitating interventions. In some cases, they are individuals who all too well know the personal hell of addiction – and who themselves at one time benefitted from the loving, caring support of others.
Regardless of their personal experiences, however, interventionists are trained, experienced professionals who bring a compassionate and supportive approach to the dynamics of addiction.
